Congregational Committees

Volunteers are the heart and soul of our congregation! Congregation Shir Ami members volunteer their time and energy to help make Shir Ami the vibrant community that it is, and in return get to enjoy expanded opportunities to make new friends, feel more connected/involved, and to make a difference in our community.  Shir Ami congregational committee members are always working hard behind the scenes to take care of a wide variety of important Shir Ami matters. Current volunteer groups include:

Caring Circle
Kind and caring volunteers in this vital group help provide support to other Shir Ami congregants at times of life’s challenges such as illness, death, divorce, birth, etc. Specific activities include helping to secure a minyan for a memorial or shivah service, sending notes to members on the loss of a loved one, arranging for transportation for a member to attend services or other Shir Ami events, visiting or calling congregants post-hospitalization, etc. Our Caring Circle has sponsored Shabbat Evening Services that focus on a special theme. If you wish to become a Caring Circle volunteer, or are in need of some Caring Circle support yourself, please email CaringCircle@Shir-Ami.com.
